Finally, I’ve got the leisure of time to sit down and post this amazing place. So last Nov. 21st, I’ve got the chance to spend some time toΒ go on a … Continue reading Something Delicious from Pandora’s Box

Summer Throwbak
The sun shining bright on the vast blue sky. The breeze passing through the spaces of the palm leaves. The soft and warm feeling of the sand underneath the feet. The soothing sound of the sea as the waves hurried to the shore. That is how I picture summer. BEACH!
Summer this year is quite different because I’m in school. Though I do enroll in summer classes for the past years, It feels different now because we have regular classes/semester. But despite being in school (I don’t mind being stucked in school right now because it’s my last semester. Yaaaayyyy! Going to graduate already.), I had the chance to experience the beach life summer even if it’s just less than an hour.
We have to shoot an advertisement in Pangasinan last April 9. Actually, this was my first time to travel outside Baguio without family members. Hahaha, I’m a big girl now. Anyway, back to what I was saying. Going to a beach was somehow in the plan but it’s unsure because of the time constraint. We left Baguio at around 10 in the morning and we arrived there past noon. After eating lunch we started shooting but we were not getting great results. My classmate’s parents asked us if we wanted to shoot at a park, and of course we said yes. Hahaha.
The park was really nice. I think it was called Japanese Garden. What was awesome about it was behind the park was the beach. Amazing! The whole time we were shooting, we were excited to go to the beach. Hahaha. Right after the photoshoot, we were like kids all thrilled as we step our feet on the sand.
Even if I’m still a little far, I already took pictures.
Finally, closer. We did not swim. We just soaked our feet. We let the sea water caressed our feet. And even with just that, I am already greatly satisfied.
The sun peeping behind the palm trees
The vast sea
We may not have swimmed nor stayed for long, but it was enough for me to feel that it was summer. To feel relaxed, calm and free. And enough for me to get sunkissed because I get suburned easily. Hahaha.
Soon, I would be back to the beach. Excited!
Bitter Sweet (photography)
My breakfast this morning. Isn’t it lovely to wake up thinking there are doughnuts in the house? Hahaha. Anyway, I just came back from my one day seminar in the Metro, so I decided to buy Krispy Kreme doughnuts as my “pasalubong.” I always love Krispy Kreme especially their Original Glazed Doughnuts. Simplicity at its Finest. Bitter sweet because the doughnuts are very sweet so I have to make my coffee a little strong. It’s just a perfect contrast of taste.
Have a great day ahead guys πΈ

Panagbenga 2014 Grand Float Parade
As a Baguio citizen, I love PANAGBENGA!!
But also as a Baguio Citizen, I’ve seen how many people go and watch the 2 day parade. Thousands of people come and watch making Baguio, especially the district area and tourist spot areas, crowded. Living near many tourist spots, it’s hard for me to go home that’s why I don’t like watching the parade. I could watch it on T.V anyway. Hahaha.
But because I chose to study the world of media, and also because now I’m an intern at an AM station, I have no choice to be there and cover the 2 day parade.
The first day, which was the Street Dancing Parade, I haven’t took pictures. Hahaha. The reason, didn’t bring my IPad or camera. So the only thing I got to take pictures of is the 2nd day of parade. The Grand Float Parade.
For the 2 day parade, our call time is 4 in the morning. Sooooo Eaaaarrrllyyy!! So the night before, we slept at Winston’s house. It’s nearer to town and because we had a shoot which ended up pretty late.
I, Aa and Ces at 5:30 in the morning. Just finished breakfast and setting up the stage. Now waiting for the parade to start at 8. Hahaha. Or we “might” go and find news. Wow, it’s freezing. It was colder than yesterday.
When the sun somehow came up but it was still cold we decided to walk. And then there we saw how many people are there to witness the grand float parade.
Where did these people come from? This is not even 1/8 of the whole area where the parade would.
While walking look who we saw. Pia and ate K, our friends from Star FM also covering the parade π
After waiting for so long, at last the parade starts…
PMA Marching Band with their bright floral polos..
Our City Officials
Paintings. Idk if this is a contest or not.
Side-view of my fave painting among them all. Sorry you just can’t see it clearly
BCNHS Marching Band
And the first float came. City Government’s Minion inspired float
Baguio Country Club’s Float
Cosplayers!! If ever I’ll enter the world of cosplaying, who would my character be?
SM’s Chinese inspired float. Last float for the non-competing floats.
Here comes the competing floats. There are 19 or 20 floats. Didn’t count it. Hahaha. And there are some floats I have not taken a picture of. Why? I was the one live on the stage, reporting what is happening so I can’t take pictures. I got a little sunburned though. Hahaha. xD
Ate crush from Dinosaur Island. She is so beautiful. When will I be this pretty? O.o
The ever so popular cosplayer here in the Philippines, Alodia, for SMART. She looks like a doll.
SLU Marching Band. I wanted to be one of them but then I realized I don’t play any kind of instrument. Hahaha
The zombie is heading my way to eat my brain. Hahahaha XD
The winning school and our bet for the Grand Street Dancing Parade, Congratulations Mabini Elementary School!!
The GMA float with Ms. Marian Rivera. She literally looked and smiled at me cause we were the ones on the stage reporting. Hahaha
The next few floats I haven’t got a picture of cause I was the one reporting π¦
And my favorite float came because it’s JOLLIIBEE!! And now I’m craving for jollibee’s chicken joy, fries and jolly hotdog.. Hahaha..
Mr. Ogie Alcasid for M.Lhulier float
At last it ‘s done. It turned out pretty good.
Look at Winston’s candid shot of me. Happy cause it ‘s finally over. No more. 4 am calltime. π
Let’s see if next year, I would still be covering the Panagbenga Parades π
Now time for Session Rd in Bloom, money bankruptcy alert!! Hahaha.
